ANTHEM ADVANCES IN ATMOSPHERIC ENVIRONMENT SCIENCE

This series intends to review advances in our understanding of the atmospheric sciences and the ways in which these interface with our society. The series will cover topics that operate on all scales, such as air pollution and climate change and related processes. Topics that involve smaller scales, such as turbulence and boundary-layer meteorology, building and urban climatology and aspects of agricultural and biometeorology will also be within scope. The series will be balanced in its inclusion of the chemistry and physics of the atmosphere. Air-pollution science and regulation – which encompass everything from indoor air quality, though the urban atmosphere, to the stratosphere and beyond – will be an important topic area for the series. Equally, health impacts of air pollution along with climate change and related issues such as mitigation, adaptation and the carbon footprint, which have social and political implications, will represent important areas of coverage. The contributions will be part of a growing library of books dedicated to a topic of great contemporary relevance to scientists and policymakers.
