Series

The Anthem Series in Citizenship and National Identities provides a unique forum for cutting-edge research and fresh insights into the essentially contested concept of nation-building. The series explores the ways in which people belong in increasingly diverse societies and assesses the fluidity of the concepts of the citizen and the nation-state in a world marked by unprecedented geographical proximity vis-à-vis increasing socio-economic asymmetries and challenges of multicultural environments. Titles in this series offer an inter-disciplinary research framework drawing on political science, sociology, and law, as much as on philosophy, history, anthropology, and cultural studies.
