Series

Anthem Advances in African Cultural Studies promotes the study of African cultures in various forms and examines all facets of the development of African civilizations from the medieval to the postmodern period. Broadly interdisciplinary, the series addresses manifold subjects in the humanities and social sciences, including sociology, anthropology, politics, linguistics, African languages and literatures, history and religion.

Proposals
We welcome submissions of proposals for challenging and original works from emerging and established scholars that meet the criteria of our series. We make prompt editorial decisions. Our titles are published in print and e-book editions and are subject to peer review by recognized authorities in the field.
